Hi all
I am not pulling, just farming but I want to optimize the weight on my tractors, I have a 30 hp 4x4 Kubota that has a loader and backhoe, presently it has filled tires (3/4 full) I don't like them filled since the rims are rusting and the valve stems rust out and I hit a nail or something TWICE last week on both rear tires and spat fluid everywhere, I don't want to use it anymore but for loader and backhoe work I need lots of weight does anyone have any suggestions? during the summer and fall I will be using this tractor in the field for very light field work, raking hay, and pulling trailers so I will remove the loader and backhoe for this to reduce weight as much as possible. I also want to get my Farmall M pulling right, in my loose soil it spins pulling a small disc or chisel plow and doesn't even start to use any engine power, so I expect I need weight, I also will be baling hay with it and the baler pulls it all over the place, where should I put the weight and how much should I use? Thanks, Whitepark
