The pulling world lost two great pullers Sunday morning in a one vehicle accident near Clarksville TN. Ronald and his son David Berry from Hopkinsville Ky lost controll of the semi and went into the median, turned over and burst into flames. Ronald has been involved for over 30 years in this sport. Some of his rides include Ron's Toy, Slow Walkin John and Berry's Beast. David is the 2004 Pro-stock champion on the Berry's Beast for the Midsouth Pullers Association. Davids girl friend was in the sleeper and was able to crawl out of the vechicle and flag down help. They had been to Campsbville TN on Saturday night to make a couple of passes with the newest tractor that they have been working on an alochol light super. Please keep the Berry family in your prayers. The Midsouth Pullers truly lost two outstanding gentlenmen and pullers.

It is truely a sad day for anyone who pulls, be it Antiques or the big stuff. Have watched Mr. Ron pull for years. Altho we were never formally introducted, Mr. Ron always spoke anywhere I saw him. His family and friends will be in our prayers. What happened to Mr. Ron and David could happen to anyone of us after a long day of work and a long night of pulling fun. Be careful out there.
