I've got a spare head I picked up and I need some ideas. Its just a plain 8060, nothing special. Any ideas about valves or porting? I need some direction. Just needing some ideas about how to hop it up a little.

I took my M head to an automaotive engine machine shop. They took my intake valve and made it the exhaust. The owner had a big box of NOS and slightly used valves, we found some that where about .140 to .150 bigger than the old intakes. They had to cut the stems down and regroove them for the keeper. While they where in the head they did some grinding under the valve and tappered into the runner. The shop also milled .30 off the head. This whole set up only cost me 375.00 dollars for the machine work and parts. Now I know somebody will probaly tell you something different, but this made a huge difference. I'm running a Fire Crater style piston I ordered from Tisco.

HOW CAN YOU CONSIDER AN 8060D HEAD TO BE HIGH COMPRESSION GAS ! I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THE 8060D WOULD BE CONSIDERED MEDIUM COMPRESSION GAS !
200CC IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER MINIUM !
400 GAS WOULD BE HIGHER COMPRESSION !!!
MAX 180CC.
