This reminds me of something that happened years ago(Long before my wife came along I assure you.)About ten years ago I took my then girlfriend to the Show Me Showdown in Macon Mo.She had a limited farm background and did know the diffrence between JD and IH but had never seen any MM"s or olivers or even an AC of course she was all for the Deeres then she started to notice that the kept getting there backsides handed to them. I was of course laying it on her because I am an IH and everyhting but a Deere guy. She turned to me and said "I know why the other tractors make better pullers." I said really? Why? She said "Why would a farmer cut up his good tractor for tractor pulling when he could go buy a cheap tractor to cut up for tractor pulling." I know that this has nothing really to do with MM"s but I can see the logic in it I can go buy a Vista 1000 for three grand I can"t buy a 4020 or 1206 for that. Although I think Minnies are kinda rebel cool.
sorry for the long windy post.

later,
Will

Actually, I really don't mind MM's. They are pretty neat in their own way. I just don't like the east coast MM crew who brag about their MM stuff and never run with any of us proven IH boys (or other midwest proven tractors). It's easy to set out east and boast!

Its also as easy to sit in the Mid West and boast. There is some tractors in the East, more especially here in North Carolina, that will be competive with any. I don't have a MM as of now, but have in the past. There are some here now that under the same rules will be competitive with any tractor, whatever the color. If you want to prove your tractor is the "king of all", bring it to Carolina and I promise you LW and some others will be glad to let you try to prove yourself.
