I talked to the Deutz tune-up man today and he told me that your old F3L-514 got a tune-up and is working good now. But Kraut, a John Deere R in the 6500 lb class? I think the scale man had his glasses on backwards. I was told of one in Mich. that has a hard time to make the 8000lb class and he has no pony moter on it. I also got some tips on how to improve a F6L-514 when I find one. As for the new 80-06 Pro-Farm - what a ride!!!! I have 3 more pulls in Canada that I hope to get to and that will end my season. It was well worth the wait and to me the tractor is a piece of art. I just need to learn how to drive it and I should do better with it.There is talk in our area of adding a Light Limited Super Stock class for next year. That may interest me. When you get time give me a call sometime.

Hey Mr NY, Kraut is on the road with his bovine relocater most of the time. He did take time out this past weekend to pull with us. And yes the little 3cy duetz is pulling quite well with the new tune job. I will talk to him probably tommorrow and I will tell him to get in touch with you. H.H.

NYD... We were in Cleveland, MS and there was a R pulling in the 6500lbs class with a few weights added... It took some stripping to get it down there... Like you said.. no pony.. and different radiator... and I think he had a D front axles.. (not much lighter.. but a little different profile on the tractor..) A ProFram lime machine???? haha... We were in IA and saw one pulling in the Outlaw ProStock classes... I think the class was a little heavy for his tractor.. but he was in the middle of the pack... I'll see if I can find a pic some where.. JDGnut

Sorry I misspoke. That R would be a tractor I would like to see pull!!! I would like to see a pic of that Deutz in Ia. I pull mine in the 5700 and 6700lb class. Any higher and I am out classed by 100 or more cu.in. I wanted to pull something differant and a Deutz sure is differant. John

NYD... I'll have to send it to you next week.. or post it here... They are on my computer at work.. and I'm on the road this week.. I won't be back to it until Monday...

On the Ele start R's.. the ones I have seen.. they had homemade brackets to mount the starter.. and to cover the hole in the crankcase... JDGnut
