Well.. how did everyone do??? Did they have the battle of the "overweights"???? (unlimited weight classes..) I figured there might be a few getting ready for the HP classed Temple pull this weekend???? Just curious how things went.. since I haven't been to a pull in who knows how long... JDGnut

It was a good pull. They were very well organized. The track was very hard and horsepower was the name of the game. We're used to pulling 3 divisions New Braunfels only offers 2, Division I and everything else. We normally run Division II, so we fell in with some stroked Gs with our JD 70. We actually fairly pretty well. There was a battle of the big ones. It boiled down to several 830s. In the final class (I believe it was 17,500) Keith Keller's 830 pulled against the local favorite with a Industral version of the 830. The industral won.

Did the final class weigh??? Kellers have some good running 830's... but that Industrial tractors is usually wighted very heavy... I think I lost a few chunks of some lugs the one year we pulled there.. that track gets like concrete... Anyone headed to Temple next week??? I know its a HP pull.. but too close to home.. and I havn't been pulling in while... JDGnut

Go pull your G, chicken. You know you live just a county or two away from Temple. I would bring the 720 but I have Home Comming to go to in Whitney. I'll see you in Valley Mills in two weeks. I will have the 720 there.

Hey Spoker.. I'm going to Temple... Changing tires as soon as I get home on Friday.. and putting on my "Temple" weight brackets... (got to have those extra Tons)We'll have 2-G's and the WD45D Allis at Temple... Not sure what will be at Valley Mills.. the G for sure... You'd better bring your Low Gear when you come to Valley Mills.. haha... I should bring the Ol 70D Standard to play with your 720.. haha... (if she didn't weight 9200lbs before weights.. I'd have a better chance of getting it there..)

Went to the pull, track was hard except at the 165 to 185 mark was dug up alittle and a soft spot developed, stopping alot of tractors some were able to muscle through it. I pulled my 50 and had fun, hope to have my G ready next year. It has a power block in it, just need $ and time to finish it. Wife and I are going to Temple to see the show, Not pulling anything. Sounds good.. I'll have my G and Dad's GW.. and the WD45D.. Not sure where we will be parked.. but we usually are in the line of trees to the East.. With the PB in the G... You'll be up there with me.. in classes... but I will probably be a little lighter than you... Just have to get the new toy finished.... JDGnut
