I read the recent discussion of USAP and was impressed by what I read. I have no favorites because I pull locally with Clintonia Pullers which is increasing in popularity to quite the large Michigan club. I have folks in my club that go to Princeton and have nothing but good comments. Most of these pulls are a little bit of a drive for me but I"m curious about the rules and classes. The website for USAP would not disply them. Can anyone give me some details and experiences? Thank you.

John, My son and I pulled with you at Booneville IN this summer and just want to say that you guys are the best. My son pulls an oliver 88 and he had a fuel problem that took about 12-15 min. to fix, when it was fixed you let him pull at the end of the class. I would say that most clubs would have gave him the DQ sign. I never had an oppertunity to say, THANKS
to you and your team! See you when the feathers fly.

I was a charter member of NATPA and pulled with them as much as I could for the first 2 or 3 years. I stopped pulling with them after some of the things I saw personally that happened at Hartford. It was about this time period that the Officers removed the board of directors and installed a new board more to their liking. I pulled locally alot before joining USAP. I pulled with them as much as I could. Later on NATPA elected a whole new slate of Officers, so I gave them another chance. It was SSDD (same stuff different day)even with the new crew. I have not been back. To each his own--some like them, I don't. I pull with John and crew as much as I can and have aways been treated fair and square. If there is a problem---see John, he will take care of it if at all possible. You may not like his soultion, but it's for the good of the pull as a whole, not for ONE person. John and crew do everything humanly possible to have a good fair pull for everyone. I had some issues with my tractor and he helped me work it out and pull at the end of the next class. I also had a problem with the hitch on a new tractor-- John explained what was wrong and how to make it right so I could pull. USAP and John and crew are First class in my book.

The website is www.usapuller.com and the new rules will not be posted until 2005. The USAP is the best organization to pull with. They are fair and they know how to antique tractor pull the right way.

MOPOWER, Try to make it down for Thanksgiving--we've been going for years--as a matter of fact long before we started pulling, we were just showing tractors. John, Bubba and the rest of the USAP gang is what got us started and it's always a great time. You'll find his site at the link below...you must have been on the old site. Not sure what kind of Moline you pull--but we have couple and there is several others--we all just love to hook to the sled--no matter who gets 1st--it's all about the fun and friends getting together.

You said it very well Tracey, great bunch of guys running the pull and always a good time with fellow pullers.
We have only pulled with them for about 3-4 years, but seems as if we have known a lot of them longer.
If you are into antique pullin' and like to pull where they try to find a way for you to pull and have a good time, USAP is the place to pull.
Always a huge turn out at Thanksgiving, with a nice facility at Princeton.
You will not be sorry for attending.

The team that has more fun,
Smith Pulling Team
