I have a pulling friend that has a 1936 A for sale. It looks good and pulls good. I don;t know the specs on it , but he is usually on this board at night. I'll let him answer back to you. He also has a 1938 G that he might be pursaded to sale. Both are nice looking tractors and pull good. I'll call him and make sure he reads your post.

i have a 38 a right now with small stroke and powerblock head work etc alaways wanted a unstyled G .My a is also for sale, just wanting to go bigger and more power THANKS ALOT FOR ALL OF THE RESPONCES BEEN LOOKING FOR COUPLE OF YEARS. FOUND SOME JUNK BUT NOT WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR. THANKS AGAIN FOR REPLYING

Like SL said, I have a '36 A for sale. It has a 5.75 bore with 9.0 stroke, big nut carb, head and manifold work. Has a lot of compression, so I use large petcocks and a gear reduction starter and 1200 amp battery. I do have a 38 G,(6.25X9.25) but I would rather not sell it at this time.
