Hey Chads, how much can you stroke a 450 without to much trouble ?

6 inches, you will have to grind the rods, a few spots in the block, and inbetween the cam lobes, that is using stock rods too. Not alot of grinding in the block, not a difficult task. as for no block grinding, 5-3/4 just rod, and cam grinding a bit. ChadS

what do you think 5.75 would do for a 450 with 70hp and 205 cylinder pressure?

Rough estimate, it may have 225-250 psi, at 225psi,, 80 hp, at 250psi, 90+hp. ChadS
