Ok fellas heres my humble UBU built for 3.0 speed limit class. It runs quite well and pulls great on crappy tracks. Moist clay? Forget it! Ok ChadS, I know it ain't as pretty as it should be. Ha-ha.

They came loaded and road worn before we mounted them up for pulling. They pull well on uneven or dry tracks. Sometimes the nice damp packed clay tracks are a struggle for us. If it is a scramble for traction, we always do very well. It even pulls farther in 1st gear than 2nd. Bars are pretty wide. Maybe we'll use our cut deep treads next year.

I have tried 1st and second and the best I have gotten so far is third three times. But I haven't been to but two pulls so far with them.I pull from 4500 to 6500.Mine are 15.5's.Are yours 15.5 or 14.9's?Do you fluctuate air pressure or leave them at one setting? If the hurricane don't come up all the way here we may be able to get in a pull this weekend in west KY.Thanks,Jack(TN).

We really have not touched air pressure, but should have. Maybe 10-12 pounds in them at the moment. We have many pairs of this type of tire on different things. They just work well in plain old dirt and rough conditions. Firestone are tougher and heavier I believe. I like Armstrong and Goodrich too. The UB has 15.5 width. Another puller pal has them too, but most guys don't go for them. I wish they still made them. Looking for 18.4x38/34/30".

Nice looking tractor. We pull several MM's that we haven't gotten around to painting as well. It's fun to see the reactions when a tractor that looks like it was just drug out of a pasture wins. I have a set of BFG 18.4X34 and BFG 18.4X30 if you are interested. Andy

I"ve got the 18.4x34 co-ops like a goodrich. What shape are the 30s in? We like to beat shiny tractors with cheap dirty M-Ms. It is probably about 65 h.p. I"m guessing at best. Motor is like a GTC 340-4.

The 18.4X 30's have about 75-80% tread with no checking. BTW, we have had great success with older coop 16.9X34 on a U The 18.4X34's you have should work great

I am in central MN. Have never mounted them because we decided to run 34" on the tractor,(U MM) they were origanally intended for. I don't know how they pull. I also would have a bigger set of jugs for your UB if you need them. BTW is an abreveation for by the way. Andy

Hey Great picture Eathan. Is that the day you beat up on all of us taking one of those trophys. Or was it the day you won the trophy on the shelf in the photo. You know the east end of the horse going west trophy for stalling out.

See Ya

Chad, I saw your brown Deere. That's why I boasted of my MM's beauty. Not a bad piece! Duals work good? No trophy that day. I was in 4.5 mph class and that track eats h.p.. I can run 2nd gear anywhere else, but not at Fowler. No trophy that day. It's bagged it's share of 2nd,3rd,and 4ths in 3.0 class. But, I let Dad pull in that class usually. Compression, big bore, sheet metal wheels, and sharp tires coming for it. Only about a dozen or more M-Ms around my place. I'll have to count...maybe 18? Like my custom intake? No money spent there on mandrel bent pipe. Lighter, easier, and cheaper way. Curious?
