Went to a pull Sunday with my ZTU. Antique 39 and older 2 plow class. Got a third, got beat by a Case CC and a MH 101 SR. I missed the weight by about 50# on the back. I think the 6 ft I was behind would have been less. Not bad, I was a 50-60 ci underdog to the 2 that beat me. By the way there wasn't JD or IH within 30 ft of the top three. These little MM are just amazing.

I pulled the junkyard R Saturday. Took 5th in the 3500 and 8th in the 4000. Didn't feel too bad about it since they didn't seperate the out-of-field tractors from the cut tire tractors.

If they'd seperated the classes the old pos would have come home with two wins.

I think it's gonna pull pretty good once I get it running right.

Rozie has a rusty governor. Also had about half a pound of plumber's solder in there from where some dipstick (not this dipstick) tried to solder the plunger rod to the arm on the output shaft.

I cleaned it up as best I could but it really needs a new plunger, plunger rod, and spring. If nothin else I'll get a washer installed between the spring and plunger before we pull this Saturday.

My good cylinder head is still at the machine shop and ain't gonna be done by the weekend. A buddy of mine here in town has offered to sell me one of his propane heads. I'm thinkin about it.

I think there's still hope for the tractor, not sure about the loose wheel nut though...
