I heard about a 660 cubic inch M that pulled in Michigan with an 8 inch stroke. I"m not much of an engine guy but is this possible or anybody know about it? Just curious. Wish I could have seen it. Thanks

I believe it won the open class that it was in that I watched. I was impressed it went down the track in 4th and spun out. The motor was built by Gary Baker.

I was there, and Gary Baker"s Black Magic won the class. The biggest one was still working out a few bugs, but damn, did it sound good. However, Gary"s sounds pretty damn good too. He went straight out the door if I recall, then they weighted the sled and he spun out. that thing had PLENTY to spare, if I had to guess.

I guess we need to know which pull in michigan he is talking about. I saw the 660 pull at Oakley, MI on the 22nd. Gary didn"t bring Black Magic to Oakley.
