What kind of horsepower will a 1950 A with powerblock, heisler head ported, with oversized valves, heisler manifold, and use the current DLTX 71 carb make? Informative answers please.

Put many model A's together with these same parts only I always bored the PB out .125 to take a stock "G" aluminum pistons. Compression ratio was between 9.5 and 10 to 1. With a stock stroke, stock cam and a big nut "G" carburetor an A will run an honest 55-60 HP at rated 540 PTO RPM on a Dyno. If you want to lug it down and say the dyno read more than that yes it would but actual HP was as stated at rated RPM. Still had very good torque.

I would guess 60-65hp. More carburator will definatly help you. If this is strictly a pulling tractor, get the compression to about 9:1 or so.
