Hi,

I've nearly finished the restoration of my 6030. I will use it for fun. So I will go to some pulling games too...I'm not going to put some extra weight on it. I'm planning to leave the tractor the way she is now...
But you guys are the experts...at this time she has complete new tires 20.8-38 the duals are also new...when I go to a pull, what gives better traction duals or not? The track is clay and duals are allowed, but only a very few are using them..haven't seen any for the last couple of years...
The tractor has no diff..

Thanks for your input...

greetings Mark

I was up to Wilson"s, North of Fredricktown Ohio a few days ago... They have what looked like a 6030 with the MOST Huge rear tires..."Forest Specials"...I"ll bet they would be fantastic for pulling...!! They are like new..!! They sure do have a bunch of stuff..!!

The harder the track surface the more lb's per square inch is required to get the tread luggs to cut into the dirt and grip the track. Pulling on pure loose sand on the otherhand the duals would win hands down.
