Here's the link. It doesn't look like the Deeres are ever going to run out of power, so I'd say the IH's will have their work cut out for them if they're going to win it all next year.

Looks like the M has the standard fast low gear, and The deeres were moving pretty fast too. I'd just hate to have to move that much weight. getting mine to 7200 or 8200 about kills me sometime.

It takes a semi to haul them....

Kinda like Fredericksburg. Kinda hard for a 7000 lbs Super M to compete with a 15,000 lbs JD 720.

You must have seen or read something that I didn't. They said the M weighed like 5 to 7000 more than the 720.

We are talking about a pull my Super M was in. Here in Texas a couple groups class tractors by Nebraska Farm Test horsepower. Its almost like KOH. So, tractors that are in similar horsepower, 30-35 hp are in the same class. Then the horsepower class is broken into weighted and non-weighted. So, you stack as many weights on as possible. I was in a class against a 720 JD standard. Weighed well over 14,000 lbs. Plus a bunch of other tractors like that. My Super M was weighted at 7,000 lbs. It was hard to compete.
