how light can you get an oliver 1855

just wanted to know if anyones seen an 1855 pullin light classes say 6500 that is an actual 1855 thanks

I have done a little bit of work on these. I had a 2255 in the 6500 modified farm. I think it is very doable, just depends on what the local rules say you have to have on the tractor, or more importantly what they don't say you can't take off.

would you have any enough on (how light) for a 1850 diesel and the best performance kit for it?

There was a guy that use to pull around us with an 1850 gas in the 6000 lb. class. Don't know what all he did to it, but it had a narrow front and pressed steel on back.

Seen a 1850 at 7000 with some room to cut more yet. But 1855 rear end is a lot heavier than the 1850.

it can be done,if you want to go through all the work to do it!
i have seen a 2150? the one with the 3208 cat in it down to 7500.

2255 had the cat in it, 2150 had the hercules inline six.
