Hey everyone, in the clubs and associations you all pull with across the country, how many of the groups out there DON'T allow a Oliver or Massey with a Detroit to pull in the stock class?? Please let me hear how everyones rules are on the subject.

We allow it in our group, basically because it is factory original and meets the age guidelines. I've pulled my stock JD 820 and Cockshutt 40 against one and we have won our fair share of times. Can't see that it has that much of on advantage and if you don't allow it, where will it stop--someone out there will find a reason to not have to pull against something else next time. When you are developing rules--remember, you have to be color and brand neutral and consider every option or else your organization will get a reputation as not being fair--we all work to hard not to treat everyone fair and equal at this sport. It's the only way this sport will continue to grow.
