Any good advise to get a 650 cubic inch 619 naturally aspirated to lug good. Having a hard time getting the engine to lug the last 20 feet of the track. plenty of air and fuel just no lug?

You have no torque! In my opinion, you can have all the fuel and air you can ask for, but if the engine is not heavy enough to keep running at the end of the pull, you have no torque. Put it on the dyno,, if you can find some one who can dyno it, and tune it, and set the pump up, for peak power for that particular condition. It will help tremndously,, may be too rich on the fuel and going past the fine line of rich,, right, and lean,, proper fuel delivery, is crutial, especially in a naturally aspirated engine. Only way to make it right is to set it for the condition u described. yep, in my opinion, it is in the fuel system. Lite the fires, n spin the tires,, Settings may be off a tad,, Chad

Call stan at 217-774-3821 he owns a diesel shop and also pulls. builds many custom pump and turbos . For what it's worth he would have the right anwser he's been into JD for many years

A cam by Berry or Vogel for the non-turbo setup might be helpful, if you've not gone that route already. BigART
