Uncut Tire Pressure

If the tire remains flat accross the face on uncut farm stock 15.5X38 6 ply tires, is 14 pounds on hard tires too much for a 6000 and 6500 pound class with stock rpm and about 62 hp on a Super M? Thanks for your opinion no matter what it is.

THE TIRE IS FLAT ACROSS THE FACE !
WHAT RIM WIDTH !! EVERY BODY TALKS ABOUT TIRE PRESSURE, NO ONE TALKS ABOUT WIDTH !

15.5-38 CALLS FOR A 14" RIM ! I PULL A SUPER M, SAME HP. 14.5PSI WORKS GREAT !!!
14" RIM !!! I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING TO 13" RIM WIDTH. YOU WANT THE CENTER OR THE FACE TO BE ROUND !

MY OPINION. ALL PART'S OF THE LUG NEED TO BITE .

With my 15.5's I run 8-10 depending on track in classes 6000 and below.6000 and up also depending on track I run 10-12. I pull on two totally diffrent tracks one is hard and sandy when you spin you leave black marks. The other track is red clay. You could dig a hole in that track until the bottom of the tractor hits the ground.

I forgot to tell you the tires are mounted on 14 inch wide rims and the hitch point must be the swinging drawbar 14 inches from the end of the PTO shaft and not more than 16 inches from the ground to the clevis and drawbar.

I'd say anywhere from 6-8 lbs especially if your tires are hard.

I might want 10-12 if I were pulling 8000-9000 lb classes, but for 6000-6500 with hard 15.5s even 4-5 might be the ticket on a loose or slick track. I'd make 8 the max for even the best tracks.
