Farm Stock Tractor Pull
wednesday, August 11
Start Time: 1:00pm-5:00pm (before the mods come in we have to be done)

enteryfee - $10.00 (includes a driver and one spectater)

General rules:

NOTE: Effective January 1, 2002 all tractor classes including farm stock and antique will have to meet TTPA wheelie bar rules. TTPA will not allow tractors without wheelie bars to hook.

1. Contest open to rubber tired tractors with two wheel drive, no duals or tire chains.
2. all tractors must have fenders.
3. scales weight includes the driver
4. All weights must be stationary and safely secured to tractor. If anything should fall off from tractor (weights or parts) while hooked to the sled, you will be disqualified immediately.
5. Tractors may reweigh after each pull as requested by track officials/judges.
6. Maximum drawbar heights of 20" as mesured from the tob or the drawbar to the ground and rigid in all directions. Must have a 3" opening hole with the back edge of the (front of the)hole a minimum of 18" baehind the centerline of the rear axle. 7. Pulling position is determined by luck of the draw
8. First puller or test puller may come back and pull first or as 4th puller. Decision must be made before unhooking from the sled.
9. may pull any gear
10. 4wd tractors alloud tp pul w/o using front wheel assist, 2 wheel drive tractors only
11.Cut tires allowed - top bar can be cut as desired but you "cannot" cut or tgouch the front face (edge) of the lug.
12. tractor driver must be at least 12 years old
13. Top three tractors will be put on a dyno in each class. tractors must runn full R.P.M. or will be disqualified while on the dyno.(he made this rule in attempt to weed out the "cheaters" that run just enough to get a reading, but when you lug them down they have 70 hp, but the wording won't work...need to go to a speed limit i told them...)
14. All tractors must have workable PTO
15. All judge decisions are final
16. The trafctor wil be disqualified if an portion of the rear tire touches the boundary line.
17. No drinking of alcoholic beverages will be allowed durning the pull (even though that never happens..lol)

CLASSES

6000lb..... ..... ..... ..... ...60hp
10000lb..... ..... ..... ..... ..100hp
13000lb..... ..... ..... ..... ..130hp
(they only have 3 classes due to time reasons..only 5 hours to pull)

i am GUESSING weigh ins start at noon (12), but wasnt there last year so i cant say for sure.

Are you sure this is an afternoon pull? I was told (by the grape vine) that the pull would be at night and 6000# farm class only to pull with the mod. and open tractors and pickups. I would prefer the afternoon pull with several farm classes. Hope your right.

according to the "ISABELLA COUNTY YOU*TH & FARM FAIR" book AUGUST 8-14, 2004, mt.pleasant michigan..... i got it in front of me right now..i wish i could get my scanner workin..i'd send it to you the actual rule copy...i copied the whole page down in that post..but rules i guess can change since they printed them...lol...i guess we'll see..lol....
