I am thinking about taking a motor out of a oliver combine and putting in my 70 oliver and try and put the the old oliver back together i think the motor in the oliver combine is a 6 cyl cont it looks like it mounts up about the same way. the only diverence i could see is the manifold is on the other side of the motor compared to what is in the 70 now. my questions are will this motor work and what kind of things can be done to improve the power of the cont engine since i will be rebuilding the motor if it will work also what kind of rough hp do they put out. Also i have a question on another tractor does anyone know where i can find a set of light weight hubs and rims for a 77 oliver and a transmision cover i am wanting to take the power lift off of it to lighten it up more. Also i wanted to say thanks for the input you all gave me a little over a year ago when i built my 77 i have won more trophies over the past year and this year then i think i have in 13 years of pulling there has been only one pull last year that i did not take one home some of the places i got at pulls last year and this year are 5 first place troupies 3 second place trophies 4 third place trophies and 1 fourth place trophy thanks again for the help last year on my 77. my ex-wife told me right before we got divorced that if i would have put as much time and money into our marriage as i did my 77 that we would have had a good marriage LOL!!

not sure where your located I'm in western pa, but I have a set of pressed rims with tires 13-38's firestone f/r 70% tread, and for the cover, I made my own with a 1/4' steel plate, not to difficult if you have your own torches..
