I was wondering how much stroke you can put in an m without grinding the block if any? Also I was wondering what kind of horsepower i'd be looking at if i had it stroked. Right now my tractor has an 8060-d head on it thats shaved .030. Should i have more headwork done? I'm running 16.9-38's and i pull 5500-6500-and7500. The tractor does really well in the first two classes. Usally spins out. In 7500 it usually stalls around 180-200 feet. I want more power. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

5-3/4 stroke with stock rods, no grinding. it is off the M&W stroker spec. If you have a stock bore,, stock pistons can be recut to match the compression height, and boost compression even more. HP ranges from 70-85 hp with 8060d head, or 450 gas head, even more with LP head. Would be a great, reliable engine, and may fit into most div 1,2 classes, cause the M&W stroker was offered for the M. Could be wrong about that,, rules may differ from pull to pull. ChadS

you would have to hunt around to find the M&W crank...or you could just have your crank stroked
