So I wanna go pulling...

Howdy to all,

I've got a '50 MH 44 narrow front. Motor (Continental H260 gas) is weak. I'd like to build it enough to be competetive in the classic and/or farm stock 4500 (if I can get there) up to 5500, possibly 7000.

Most of the pulls I'd go to are "brush pulls", but there are a couple of Indianhead (WI) sponsored pulls, which at least in the Farm Stock, only allow 200rpm past stock speed.

Knowing that some of the Kermit tractors are running close to 90hp, how do I get close?

First thing is an engine rebuild, needed before I can even run a hay elevator with it, so let's start there.

Thanks,

Steve NW WI

Well, Steve, Indianhead does not allow 200 over stock RPM. It is now absolutely nothing over what the book says. Someone in Minnesota changed that. So, if you do ever get it done, make sure you are on the nuts wuth the RPMs. If you do get here, make sure and say "P@ss on the North of 8 Retard!!
