aluminum fuel tank question

I am looking for a 3 1/2 gallon 8x16 aluminum fuel tank for the tractor I am building. Who has the best price on these? I called Unique Supply and the price was $99, which was up from the $72 they quoted two or three months ago. Does anyone else have a better deal? Mike

I ran into the same thing... I called about twice a week for 2 months.. and everyone was out of stock... so I quit for a few weeks.. ordered one Monday... I think it was $92... the price had been 72-75.. I just bit the bullet, but looks like since the price increase, they now have them in stock... Figures..

(Don't remember the name of the Company either.. number is 800-576-2882... You could also try MAS Racing 615-644-6811... I ordered one from them a few months ago.. they said they had one in stock but it never came.. they sounded upset when I called about it.. so I went to the Company that had one.. )

I got my tank yesterday... It is a spun AL tank... not the shinny ones... not sure if I'm am going to go through the work of polishing it... Might get it on... and go from there..

IM IN THE STEEL MARKET, AND PULL TRACTORS, THE PRICE OF STEEL IS GOING UP ABOUT 1/4% A DAY, YOU WONT FIND AND PRICE BETTER THEN 2 DAY, AND WHEN STOCK GOES OUT AND THEY REORDER UP UP UP GOES THE PRICE...880 GUY..MIKE
