Rear weight placement for John Deere A

Where is the best place to hang rear weights on a John Deere A for pulling, I am constructing mounts to hang suitcase weights and would like some imput on this such as height, distance from axle, in front or behind, etc. Thanks in advance.

I pull a 52 JD A and my rear brackets will hold 14 105lb IH weights, its about 14in long and 4.5in wide, my middle bracket will hold 5 weights on each side its 10in long on each side, then on my front bracket its 11ft from the center of the rear axle and will hold 7 weights.

Forgot, my rear bracket is bolted in the holes on the axle.

Last couple years i pulled a 36 A in 4500-5500 antique and i just had short brackets on both sides of the axle.300 eash side in frount, 600 each side in back . the rest on the belly .I coulda used more on the back.Dads going to run it this year so ill try some more stuff this year.

If your running cut tires you will need more on the front and as far out as your rules allow.
