What is a 50' or a 6' pull? (besides a really bad driving job)

The Redding pull is a stoneboat pull. Many eastern NY/ western CT pulls have been 6' pulls, but some are switching to a longer pull. What we really need is an affordable transfer sled with an operator that doesn't play games.
