There's several factors involved in getting the tractor to hook. Track conditions considered.

#1 Weights must be placed properly on the tractor.

#2 The hook point will make a big difference on how far back it is from rear axle of tractor. The farther back, the more down pressure on the tires.

#3 Tire pressure is big factor as well.

#4 Use a hard hitch point, not a clevis.

Rule of tgumb here in NH . hard track , hard tires( 12 PSI ) soft track , soft tires. 4-6 psi) . I run my Super M at or pretty close to 6 psi . 15.5 on 14 inch rims , and got a shelf full of trophies. Always in top 5, and pretty much the one to beat .
