I bet my opinion of Springfield's pull is shared by many after Saturday's pull. I had the joy of watching Mr. President try to yellow his way out of everything he could. He has pracically ruined the club, ran off all of the outlaw tractors, and let his arrogance and ignorance influence his decisions. If I were the the Hale's I wouldn't fool with him after the way he acted Sat. and screwed them on the packer! Oh, Mr. Rattle and Snap, I'm by no means scared to come up there and whip your a$$! Someone needs too! I liked the way you blamed Cody for the last post, that is funny.

it is a shame that you have to steal someones username, probably steal from your mommie and cry when you pee your diaper.

I don't think your internet service provider (www.socket.net) would take too kindly to you using someone else's name with intent to mislead. In fact, they prohibit it. George Pfenenger ([email protected]) would probably be very unhappy.

The point was, how many outlaw tractors did you see there? He has ran off a half a dozen or so last year, maybe because they beat him? Did you get tired of Elmer quizzing you? If you're not going to listen to the teacher maybe you need to quit school!

There are other tractors besides outlaws. Who is the "teacher" you are referring to?

The farm stock rules are so screwed up, there is no need to worry about them. As far as I could tell, the 4 and 6 mph. classes weren't changed, except for the wheely bar rules. I just like watching the outlaws run, to me it is like biting into a York Pepper Mint Patty, I gives me a sensation! I just thought it was funny Sat. when Mr. President resigned and then took back over about a half a dozen times. That shows you what kind of leadership the club has!

I agree there are issues, but you must understand I have/had a long history with the club, I just feel some loyalty to my hometown and club. It's nice when I can get to pull to drive 10 minutes and be there. I don't wish the demise of any club, so if I have problems that bother me enough, I just don't go back, and let others make their own decision vs. trying to broadcast and make further trouble. I knew it wouldn't be the smoothest of transactions when Teasley stepped out, maybe these arguments, and whining led to him leaving. None of the other clubs are perfect either, I guess we all need to do what some of those T-shirts worn in the past said - "Shut up and Pull" or we can stay home and help our wives mulch around the house. Just my opinion.

You're right---things should have been handled different. The drivers meeting wasn't the time and place for some of the topics discussed. You're also right ---there weren't alot of outlaw tractors there. I don't know the reason why. I do know that Elmer or anyone else that wants to run outlaw needs to have the proper safety equip. installed to meet club rules that is putting on the pull. What the rules are anywhere else don't mean squit as to what Springfield's rules are. The rules say that you must have a clutch shield or blanket to pull at Springfield in Outlaw. The other 2 Case tractors had a blanket, but Elmer can;t find one to fit. He is legal for regular and open classes, but without a blanket he ain't legal for outlaw---no matter what other places say or do with their rules. All in all I thought it was a decent pull and I will try to go back sometime. Tractor numbers overall were alittle higher than the last time I was there.

I think it is a shame that all four clubs in Mid-Tenn can't get together and come up with a uniform set of rules. Everyone has their own agenda to do what suits them, not what benifits the club as a whole. It is a crying shame my 6mph. tractor can't pull in the outlaw class without a blanket, granted the tractor probably won't win, but his $15 is as good as anyone elses. I was going to pull my 6mph. tractor in the outlaw class but I guess my money isn't green enough for them. I understand the safety issue, but they need to use some common sense! That is the whole problem the President doesn't have any!

The color of your money doesn't have anything to do with it!!! Are you legal for the Outlaw classes or not. Elmer wasn't legal and if you don't have a shield or blanket you aren't either. 6mph or 2500rpm doesn't matter either in outlaw. They let everyone that wanted too, pull Sat. and told everyone to get a copy of the rules and get legal for next month. That included shields, blankets, wheelie bars, weight brackets, and tires. Be legal for whatever class you want to pull in. They didn't stop anyone from pulling if they wanted too and gave you the chose to get right for next month. Seems fair to me. They can't keep letting it slide tho.

Middle Tennesse does need to collaborate on the the rules of the different clubs to avoid this kind of crap. They are pulling tractors sitting in shed everywhere around hear but everyone is so fed up with the BS that no one really cares anything about pulling anymore. I hate to see it end up this way but every year I see fewer and fewer tractors in classes that once has 20-30 in them. It use to be fun.
