You would need to use a rear engine plate from either the M, or a 560. you can drill the mounting holes into the M plate to adapt the 6 cyl, or just use one from a 560. the easiest way to adapt the front engine mounts would be to use 560 frame rails, then the stock engine mounts for the 6 cyl, and they will bolt right on the M bell housing. Basicly,, the 460, is nothing more than a 300 rear end, (early) with a 6 cyl, and you can bolt the 6 cyl right into the H too, only machine work, is to turn the flywheel down, to fit the H starter ring to the 460 flywheel. On the M, you will need the 560 flywheel, but you would have to compare the distance from the engine plate, to the back edge of the starter ring. it must match the 4 cyl specs on this measurement, in order to use the stock M starter. My opinion is, that it would be easier to use a 450 tractor, since it had a 3 bolt starter, and is basicly the same as the 560. Other than making the flywheel and starter ring match the M-450 specs, it is cake work. ChadS
