Pulled a stock 44 in div 2, won the points championship in 4500 and came in 3rd in 5500. Still had the fenders, pto, and hydraulics on it. Had the hitch as close in and as high as legal, a good set of 15.5x38 F&R's on the back. It usually ran a bit light in the front in 4500, but since I still used the tractor for things other than pulling, I never lightened it up in the rear to get movable weight.

Usually pulled in classes of 15+, with several 70+ hp tractors in them, and did respectable for a low power tractor.

Tom, I've got a 44' few engine mods running new 13.6x38's all traction field and roads. I only pulled it about 4 times last year and haven't quite got the tractor, tire pressures and weights figured out yet. But it seems like a strong tractor, the bigest problem I had was that 1st gear popped out, so I had to rig up a lock in for it.

A lightweight Massey 44 rowcrop with a few off the shelf parts in the engine and 15.5x38 Firestones are tough to beat in the 4500lb class.
