Yeah, been kicking the 88 block around a bit lately. I wion't build a huge cubic inch oliver engine, as some say it will not be durable for a long period of time. I would recommend Brad Maibach (spelling,, sorry brad!!) he has sleeve and pistons kits for big bores, and I belive he may have a few stroker cranks. He does excellent work!! I do have a design for our 88, it will be a small stroker, with the stock 3-3/4 pistons. I have yet to build a piston yet, but that is coming too. Here is my plan to build these engines, I am all for keeping the stock bore in the block, and utilizing what is there. I machine the stock pistons, it is so hard, and expencive to buy a custom piston set, I will machine the stock piston, for a stroker on the 88, I can use stock pistons, 88 crank, and a small stroker. Iwill post a picture of an 88 piston cut down, and you can see for yourself how my theory works!! Yes would be interested. Where you from? ChadS
