I was wondering what you fellas take to a pull, tools and such things. What are items you wouldn't be without and what you take you might be able to do without. Thanks, Dave S

I'd be sure to take a tire pressure tester as well

The best item we take is an umbrella that clamps onto the lawnchair. About $5 at walmart.

Besides all the tools, cooler with drinks, and lawn chairs, I always wet down a coupla wash cloths the night before, put them in the freezer in a plastic bag, then throw them in the cooler before we leave, Soooo refreshing on those hot days and nights, not to mention getting the dirt off your face. Try it, you might like it. And Have Fun.

I have one tool box that always gets throw in. It has one set of 3/8- 1 1/4 wrenches (another set stays in the truck, for bolt head & nut), a spark plug socket for everything M, F20, etc., assorted small pieces like dist cap, points, spark plugs, rotor, air equilizer. Then theres weights, chains, straps for weight brackets, bung cords, cooler of pop & water jug, tractors (of course) and all 5 of us.

I always carry a pretty good selection of tools. My reasoning is if I've got 'em maybe I won't need them. Having to reapir the tractor at a pull is one thing, but you never know when the truck or trailer might break down in between.

Hitch Witch has the right idea. But..start with some "general purpose" tools like crescent wrenches, vice grips, pliers. An extra set of spark plugs and a gas can is good too. An air tank can come in handy. Check the cooler and make sure you won't run short of your favorite beverage. Then, have as much fun as possible!

Of all the things we take and we tote a big load, the most important item is the desire to have fun.
We try to pack a big load of whoop A$$, but usually that evaporates before arriving at pull. Times we have needed something we did not have someone else did and was happy to let us use.
Have had fellow pullers offer to help throw weights, load tractors, drive tractors, have borrowed tools, lent tools, borrowed air, supplied air. The pullers that share this view know who you are.
That's all part of it and makes it all the more fun.
Loaded ready to go, see you guys early Sat AM with prime parking spot.
WILL NOT BE THERE FOR BREAKFAST!!!!! !!!!
