Wwe looked into this and even pulled a few trucks at a couple of pulls. But we looked into our insurance, and it was going to be expensive, so we don't pull trucks anymore. So look into the insurance before you get started. It might be better for them to get there own coverage... and maybe form a club.. Good Luck

Trucks seem to bring lots of people , but you also have to have someone to enforce the rules . street legal trucks covers lots of territory . Here they have a SHOWROOM STOCK class , means whatever it came with from factory is all you can run , no aftermarket carbs , manifolds , headers , suspensions , and only the engine that was available for the model and year . About all you can change is computer chip etc. and camshaft . Every place they have this class there are 30 to 40 entries . They also have a street legal modified class which lets in headers , aftermarket carbs and almost anything but blocked suspensions but it has to be licensed and insured . The classes pull with antique , farm stock , super farm and pro stock , seems like every one gets along . If you are a low budget pull , with no pro stock etc. the only way to get a crowd here is to have these truck classes along with the farm and antique . JIM

I would not suggest bringing them in. They will bring in the money, but the two groups will be fussing all the time. Antique's and trucks both have as much right as each other two pull, but like I said they will be fussing. If yall want to yall can but it's only going to be trouble, the decideion is up to all of yall. I would suggest voting on at a meeting with private votes What ever yall decide is fine it's not my club.

I pull antique tractors and 4x4 street legal truck. The trucks bring alot more action to the pull.

If you can run more than one sled then it isn't to bad. Our local county fair had antique, pro stock, and mini-mod tractors. Because the mini's used the same sled as the antiques, there were 75+ pullers plus friends/family in the stands waiting to pull again. It is my understanding that the fair board decided to stay with the antiques and pro stock smokers.
