I like Levi Garrett plug, it last a long time and you can spit on the green tractors after you beat them!

D-21 is a great spark plug, but is limited when you start to pour on the fuel. Some say use autolite, some say bocsh. Etc. I like the champion platinum truck plug #4130. These plugs have a very long electrode, which moves the spark closer to the center of the chamber. I have ran the same set for 5 seasons and had no trouble with them. I keep an eye on them, but found no reason to swap them out. Traditional plugs, the electrode is so close to the casting of the head, all of the contaminates, and carbon builds up in these areas and cause fouling. With the electrode moved away from this point, the compression, and power stroke naturally cleans the plug electrode, and less fouling. Just my opinion. Chad

Chad
I looked at the 4130 today and it appears to be a tapered seat plug versus the D21 gasketed plug, did you put gaskets on the 4130?

I have used gaskets on them off the champions, I have ran them without them, I have sprayed soap water around the plugs on both with and without gaskets, niether one leaked, that is with my tractors, so some others may need to use the gaskets. ChadS

Thank you Chad, I think I am going to go get a set and try them.
