Here is a picture of the Hill Brothers 460 IH puller from Pleasant Hill,Illinois.I must have taken this picture in the early-mid 1970's at Bethany,MO.

When I first saw the Hill Brothers pull it was in 1969 and they each had a Wards ER tractor with the flathead Chrysler 6.Larry Hill pulled the Firebug I Wards and won the 5000 lb class at Louisville,KY the first two years it was held back in 1969 and 1970.He got 5th at the 1969 M&W pull.Ronnie Hill pulled the Firebug II Wards
and I have pictures of both tractors.I bought some pulling parts off them in 1970.

In about 1971-72 they built identical 460 IH pullers and here is one of them. They used to come over to Missouri to pull some and these tractors flat turned the rpms and were hard runners. They must have quit pulling in the late 70's,early 80's.

Anyone on here know them?

1206, you seem to have a heck of a bunch of vintage pulling and tractor pics. Have you thought about building a site to showcase them, or putting them in some sort of book? I think something like that would go over pretty well, especially as you know a lot of the history that goes along with the pics. Just a thought.

G-Man,several others have suggested this but I really dont have the time nor computer know how to have a website of old pulling pictures.I really dont have as many pictures as some think I do.I've been to maybe 600 pulls in my life and probably only took pictures at 15-20 of them.I dont even have pictures of lots of my favorite pullers.I had many chances to take pictures and didnt do it.

I would be glad to contribute all my pulling pictures to someone that would build a website. When I'm gone my pictures will be of no interest to anyone in my family.
