need to small block a farmall mta to pull in hotrod class. what block is easier to use? chevy,ford or mopar?

I used a chevy V8 because I had one. The work is about the same reguardless of what you use. I used a gear reduction bellhousing mounted starter on the chevy setup and was able to keep the stock frame rails. Granted it took some "massaging" of the castings that bolt to the bellhousing, but they are still there. I think the Ford would work much the same and bellhousing mount starters off late model cars should be easy to make work. Anyway about it, you are gonna have to make a new input shaft for the tranny so one spline is as easy as another. Hope you own a good grinder.

It depends on your liking,I plan on using a chevy v8 in a case tractor,the reason I'm useing the chevy v8 is because I'v worked on and have been around chevys all my life.
