7500#
1st.....Hatchie River
2nd.....Sweeper
3rd.....FatLady

8500# (after pull off because of tie)
1st.....FatLady
2nd.....Sweeper
3rd.....?????(May have been the "R" from Texas)

10,000#
1st.....FatLady
2nd.....Sweeper
3rd.....?????

Fun day had by all. The "good old boys" from Texas made it in fine style. Hatchie River and his new "hot rod" were frighting and the FatLady loved dancin' in her new shoes.

How's the oysters?.....Spotter

H.H.
Hatchie done got one of them hot Internationals turning about 4 grand. It's scarey enough with him just walking in the "pits" so you can imagine what it's like on the track. He spent more time with his head turned looking at the box than watching where he was going. Cringe..cringe..LOL

Yep, anti-freeze by the gallon will be available on site. By the gulp or the sip depending on how long one wishes to remain vertical. See ya there...Spotter

JDGnut..
Glad ya'll made it back to civilization. I knew the "R" took third in either the 8500 or 10,000#. Couldn't remember which. We were caught up in the moment with that "red tractor". Defending the "Green" can get can be tight at times and Sweeper is tough.

Oh, and the "R" was super bad in the class that it took 1st place in. Left everybody in the dust. What more can one say...well, not much without letting the "cat out of the bag"...LOL

We really enjoyed visiting with you and GPower. Wish you could make it to Cleveland but I understand that being on the road stuff. My recliner is all smiles when I get back after a day or so of being away....Spotter

Aight Spotter, the real challenge is this....drag your ole stinky stick and the crew to Texas come April, and well see how the stick works in the good dirt...lol. I will have the cook whip up a good batch of fresh cheeseburgers to distract you when the big boys start pulling.

BTW it is always nice to let the host win at the games..never want to make them mad...lol

Gee (whiz) Power,

I'll have to talk to our manager to see if we can fit Texas into our schedule. Let us know when and where. Try to pick one close, cause our expenses won't be subsidized by the factory as some are.

As for the stick it's only a conduit for the transfer of information. What happens once the transfer is complete shall remain my secret. By the way what kind of dirt ya'll got? I may have to switch sticks if yours is not compatible with these Mississippi mixtures. Has something to do with electrons, protons and neutrinos. Could you send me a sample for testing?

Never knew that someone from the "everything's bigger and better" state would ever feel compassion for a competitor. Yea must not be native to the "Lone Star". Got to be a transplant...LOL...

Seriously, would love to take on the challenge. Keep us up to date. Maybe we can pick up some gears while we're there. That could be all we make it back home with (Mississippi humility)...Spotter

When are you headed back? Gonna make Cleveland I assume. We're probably going down Friday afternoon and just stay over night. That's a long haul for "old folks". Two round trips would be just too tough on my driver. Want him fresh and alert for Saturday...Spotter

Is sweeper still banned from this board? If he is maybe we could take up a collection and pay his fine and get him back on here. I kinda miss the ol geezer. H.H.

We've not been able to determine if he has been banned or if it is a malfunction with AOL and their browser. He and I both have e-mailed the monitor of this forum to see if they have in fact banned him but we have not been able to get them to respond. Not so much as an acknowledgement that they even received our e-mails.

If we knew what was going on from the monitor we might be able to solve the problem but they just won't respond. Very frustrating to say the least...Spotter

Hey Spotter,

Love to see that 820 pull everytime I get a chance. Good running tractor and yes, she definitely had her new shoes on Saturday and was strutting her stuff. Hopefully, I'll be able to get my G to Cleveland so I can pull. It's only farmstock and I've only pulled one time, but it was definitely fun. Still learning about pulling.

JD-G..
Look us up if you get there. There will be plenty of folks there to help you if you have any questions. It took us about three years to get our stuff to this point and we find something new each time we pull. Always learning...Spotter
