W-9 Front Hub changeover

I want to lower the front end of my W-9. will the hubs off an M Farmall fit, any changes in barrings? If this will not work , does anyone know how to lower the front of this tractor? Thanks for any Help you can give. TR

I put F-30 16-inch spoke wheels on my W-9. They required different tapered bearings and a spacer as the W-9 spindle is pretty long and a little bigger than the F-30. This wasn't too big a deal, though, and they're definitely lighter than those 18-inch cast ones. Hope this helps.

What size are the W-9's and what size are on the M? The answer may not be too obvious, as an M had 16 inch wheels compared to the 18 in wheels on a W9.

I can't answer your question. Obvious answer is correct in what you have to do, but does he have a clue and help-answers you asked. Obviously not.

Sorry, I have gotten fed up with some peoples less than helpful thoughts on this and other sites.

Find a front end off of a W-6 or W-4.
