Does anyone know of a good place near Sioux Falls SD to stroke a Farmall f-20 crankshaft? Also would anyone be willing to share their trade secerts in building a F-20. We already have the plan laid out for it but would still like to hear what others have done. Thanks for the help

Low RPM to start with, very poor engine design. You would be better off restoring it for a collector piece. There are much better tractors available. I would keep looking

If you are going to do the F-20 crank, you better consider building a center main to support it. I know of 2 that have been done for 10-20 engines. Basically they had to do a ton of welding to build up the center of the crank that could be turned down to a journal. Next you have to fabricate a main the is split in half. Then you position it in the block and bolt it through the side of the crankcase. Lot of work, but I think you can get a 7.75" to 8" crank to hold up that way.

Are you sure you want to build a F20? With two main brg's. they are a poor canadate. My friend pulls one and crank wont last a year. He has 7" stroke with 4.25 bore. Around 90 HP. This is not strong enough for div 3 tractor & geared to fast for div 2. My suggestion is to look at something with a center main. He is running a 560 IH rod brg.
