Does anyone know when some pulls are going to be going on in Texas. I am ready to get my red machines warmed up and pull some iron.

The first TATPA pull will be the first weekend in April, at Corsicana. Then there are some more right after that, but not sure just yet where and when. There is one coming up in Glen Rose, but will be using the Tucker sled and rules..it will be a horsepower pull, not a weight class pull. I will try to find out more and let you know.

Tucker is from Burleson. The rules are really none. You go by a book that has all the HP ratings, and they just divide up the classes by HP. So if your tractor is 40 hp..you would fall in their 40-45 hp class. Then it is divided up by weighted and non weighted. So if you get in the weighted class...with your 40 hp tractor, and you only weigh 8000 pounds, and the next guy weighs 15000....well you get the idea. The rules fit the guys who may have a 40 hp tractor from the factory and it could be turning 80hp and noone says anything...you are just left holding th bag. Thats pretty much the way it goes with HP pulls.

That is correct. So only go if you like living in a dog house and reamed by the horsepower rules.

Not worried about the rules but the dog house is scarry. Spent Vday last year in kentucky at national championships at the farm show. Great pull but dog house prevailed.
