Power costs man. Anything is possible with an Allis, But it all depends on the size of your wallet.

I agree wit the other posts. Depending on what you wanted to do with you WD-45. If you do get inetested in increasing the size of your motor, I have parts that will get you going.

A WD-45 will pull very competitive stock at #4000 and #4500. As long as you are pulling against other "stock" tractors. The WD-45 has a lower first gear than a WD or WC so that will help you if you want to pull heavier and still run the stock motor. Depending on your rules you would be much better off on most tracks to run 38 in. tires instead of the 28 in. that came on it. If you want to do some motor modifications the WD-45 if fine up to about 330 cu. in. If you go bigger than that you better get a Gleaner E or D-17 block. A 4 1/8" overhaul kit will get you to 51 HP on the stock motor.

The red (and the ollies also) tractors are using 38" rubber on the rears while you have 26" or 28"... which means they have many more square inches of tire on the ground. You can get some rear end parts from a allis r or rc (something like that) to get your ground speed slower so you too can run the 38" rubber.

With the engine you have now you will need to bore and stroke it or you need to get a gleaner model E combine motor (same as a D-17.. same block as what you have now). This motor will be mid to upper 40's for HP. It will all depend upon how deep your pockets are and what classes you are going to pull. There are alot of helpfull people on this board who can help you. Good luck and have fun.
