Me and my dad run a stock M clutch in ours when we pull. Ours kicks 65 horse and it hasn't ever slipped once. Best of luck!

I used a new stock disk but rebuilt the pressure plate for more holding pressure (not much) by shimming the springs. Worked fine in Div II and III with no slippage using 18.4/38 cut tires. I don't have my old spring data but just used standard practices for valve springs.... measured with a valve spring machine, then shimmed to increase as necessary... but don't go too much and bind it all up. That's my experience and hope it helps.

You should be ok,, you can go up to 310psi and still be ok.. just make sure that the deck of the block has been resurfaced, otherwise the head gasket may not seal with that kind of compression. If you have room to offset the pin, you can do it that way,, or if you are going to run chevy pistons,, just gety a low compression piston, one with a dish instead of a dome,, Chad
