i am building a 46 JD G, i was wondering who would be the best person to send it out to for a competiton grind, any help would be appreciated

If I'm not mistaken Robert's gets 400 bucks for a cam regrind. We have several done for ourselves and quite a few others. I have references available if requested. I can get you whatever you want if you send a core for half that much plus shipping. Post email address and I will contact you. thanks!

Just to clarify things, I have had two cams ground by Robert's and neither has exceeded $200, and that is with refacing the lifters. Mike

Same here Mike,

203.00 and that included the shipping. That was the cam grind plus refacing the followers.

Have heard good things about Roberts Carb doing the grind. Have not used one yet from him, but have one coming in for a 53 G right now, should be here tomorrow, that he did. He can tell you all the specs and what type of grind you should get depending on the engine.
