what's the lift on a cam in a farmall 450 mine is .405 is this near normal?

You can't be measuring it right. I just checked a stock one i have laying here and i got .262 lift. My cam appears to be in good cond. Unless you are checking lift at valve. Then you need to figure in the rocker ratio (1.65 to 1) .405 divided by 1.65 = .245 plus .017 rocker clearence = .262 Hope this helps.

yea I measured the amount the valve moved down it's .405 is the normal?
