How much horsepower is possible from an early model 4520 John Deere with the factory stock turbo and injection pump system? Are there any changes that can be made to the injectors or the pump besides going to a late 4520 or 4620 injection system? And is it possible to interchange the front pivot plate on this tractor with a 4320 to put a lighter wide front on it ? How light can you get this tractor? Any information would be appreciated.

We've pulled our 4320 in years past and with a stock pump, injecors and turbo, the most we've been able to muster is around 175hp

according to the charts, a 4520 was 123hp factory, and a 4620 was 135. prolly 200hp is the max for factory componants w/o a different turbo and pump work/injectors.....??
