I remember seeing it pull back in the early 70's at Bethany,MO.

Do you know of any sites on the net that have old pulling pictures like this from the 70's and 80's?

thanks for the pics. Do you remember the old Heartbreaker 2 sled used by the Northwestern Ohio Tractor Pullers Association from '75-'95? Any idea if there's any pictures of it on the web?

Not sure if it was Number 2 but I sure remember the Heartbreaker sled that was used in northwest Tn and Western Ky for sure! I am sure it probably went all over but that is where I saw it. Always wondered what happened to it. I go back far enough to remember when they got to the big tractors they put a tractor on a sheet I think in front of the sled for extra weight.

That was probably heartbreaker 1. The picture above is of Heartbreaker 2 (now called Big Clyde).

Bob, Yes,back in 1970 and 1971 Dickie brought the "Duster" 1206 to SW Missouri and pulled some with us.I remember him pulling the 12,000 class at the 1970 Ozark Empire fair in Springfield. He was always at the MO State fair pull until the 2nd year he had his 1066 which would have been 1976.He started running the NTPA national circuit then.

Dickie was always the tractor to beat.I would give any thing to see a picture of the "Duster" 1206 the way he pulled it from 1972-74.Had a big inline pump, huge turbo, intercooler,NF with chrome wheels, etc. For some reason I have no picture of this tractor.
