Here is a picture of my 1944 John Deere A show tractor. Believe it or not it used to be a pulling tractor. But when I bought it I restored it and made it a show tractor. I only took it to two shows this year. At one show I won best enginered. At the other one I won a top 150, and a first place 6 foot trophey.

Wait just a minute. This tractor still isn't afraid to get dirty. Sometimes she gets real dirty. What do you think water is for? She stills shows off her power every now and then too.

I really like the before picture better! Because it wasn't afraid to get alittle dirty, and didn't shy away from a little competitive work. I like the restored tractors that are pullers, tractors were built to work, not to sit around and look pretty. I have a slogin on my pulling tractor (RESTORED JD-A) that says "NOT FOR SHOW, BUT FOR GO!" When I get tired of pulling tractors, and want to show them, I will sell them and get a car! Tractors were made to show pulling something, not just sitting there collecting dust!

Yup we all go a little crazy now and then.Been more than a few times I come to and just felt real bad about doing something nuts.But with a lot of work and some hard earned money you can make that tractor into a puller AGAIN !!Ya just got to forget about what ya dun to her and make it right again!These things were made for pulling and color don't matter.Anyone can show a tractor,takes someone divious and cunning to be a good puller!!!!! !
