Is it possible to change out the high first gear in unstyled B's with a creeper from another model or maybe they even exist for the unstyled.

John

I suppose anything is possible, but beleive me their is nothing like horse power. By the time you fool around changing gears you cold have stroked the crank. you still woon*t have the wheel speed you need and one load of hard work invested, Wickman is walking a guy through the building process so do yourself a favor and read what Dave has to say. Not Sour Grapes but been there done that. You*ll find Daves info earlier on this forum.

"Do as I say, not as I do!!" What the h*ll!, more horsepower, changing gears, wheel speed, STROKED CRANK!, Been there, done that???? I see, only JD boys can do this crap to their tractors, the rest of us have to stay stock?? What chapter of the "greenweenie bible" is this written under? The book of BS, chapter 1, verse 1?? Come on Greenweenie, you got the nerve to jump all over us guys for stripping some weight, or trying to get more power!! I have a word for this attitude, HYPOCRITE!!! Give us all a break! Why don't you roll over, kiss Chads goodnite, and go back to sleep!!!! PS. JOHN DEAR, SORRY TO INFRINGE ON YOUR POST, GOOD LUCK WITH THE GEARS, HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Had a JD pedal, didn't like the attitude one has to have when you own a JD, traded it for a Belarus, I got the better end of the deal, no doubt about it!!!

Thanks for doing what I started to do. I want to compete with JD M's, 40's, 420's and the like on a somewhat equal field. If I jump out there with 400 cubic inch in an unstyled B and pull 5 MPH in the STOCK class and win everytime what fun would that be! Guys that sneak in modified tractors to be able to win the stock class still loose. All I want is a fist gear like an M, MT, 40T or SuperC Farmall. Then it might be fun to place in the middle of a 20 tractor class and enjoy the day. Modifieds are for the modified classes.

PS A hard track will suck the HP out of ur stroked motor if 1st gear aint low enough. BEEN THERE DONE THAT SENT EM HOME ASHAMED. Stock tractor beat some hopped up G's because the track was good and my creeper got em.

Sorry, I didn*t realize that you wanted to pull a stock class, but creeper gear or not if you think you can take this stock B and pull with a farmall C you also have visions of sugar plumbs dancing in your head. You also think you can get 400 inches in an Unstyled B I can tell you have a vivid imagination, so the best piece of advise I can give you is to take your pedal tractor to Wis, and you and that other idiot have a pull off.

My pedal tractor will out pull your pedal tractor anytime. You will never get any traction being so full of hot air!

It is easy to overlook all us little stock pullers as we are beneath the mighty div 3 pullers. I have seen a M beat a super C on several pulls so the B should stand a chance. At least the fellow driving the super C is a far nicer puller than you as we pull for fun and not for ego.
