The season is very short and competitive. We only have six weeks of summer up here.

DW I am near Niagara Falls NY and I have a 130-06 Deutz that I pull farm stock and I am in the planning phase for a 80-06 Deutz for the local Pro-Farm classes. I am just waiting for the club to finalize the 2004 rules so it is built to the rules. Just looking for places 200 or so miles around me to pull this season. Got any ideas? John

A deutz, eh? That would be a refreshing addition, I think. I have been a mamber of the Southwestern Ontario tractor pullers association in the recent past. The pulls are between the Windsor to London area. May be a little far for you, but there is a decent class for 4500# and on up to 10500#. There are other clubs that are closer to you, but I am not sure on the rules or classes. If you run over 3000 rpm, you must have a steel flywheel, and a scatter blanket. Also wide fronts only, turbo limited to 3" I believe and P-series Bosch pumps are allowed. Water injection and cut tires also. Once again, these are the SWOTPA rules, but I would imagine the other clubs are real close. Regards, FD
