Hi, I just had the head completely redone for my DC. Also having my intake runner bored out to accept larger carb. Having a set of 4" bore small block chevy pistons reworked to accept pins on the Case. Using high dome pistons which should yeild 10.5 to 1 comp. Will be pulling with stock RPM 1100, and stock stroke 5.5. Stock hp is 33 at drawbar and 37 at belt. Anyone know how much power I can expect? Thanks, Dave S.

If you are going that far , may as well get that mixture into the cylinder past the valves. Install oversize intake with the heads machined to a nail head shape. Three angle valve job on the seats. Grind the casting and machining ridges out of the valve bowls. Get the cam ground by a pro. Good for another 10+HP.

you are way short on stock horse. stock rpm is 1200 plus 10% is 1529 your set up should give you in the neighbor hood of 55 to 60 horse
